In the beginning...
there was an idea. A "wouldn't it be cool if" moment. Everyone likes to be a star, right? And everybody loves Google, right? So why not put the two together, and give the regular, art- and computer-challenged person the chance to put their image in a personalized e-card, and make it available on Google. And give it a cute name.
So that was the beginning. 20 months, and a lot of hard work
(and plenty of laughs), MushyGushy is up and running. The original idea has changed a lot - all of the cards are animated; the ability to change gender and skin tone of the characters is a key element, and the Google angle is downplayed a bit. The site is bigger and better than we could have imagined - and, we hope, on the way to becoming a big hit!
